Sounds icky, hmm? Computer scam sites use Automated Robot Software (AutoBots) to scan websites worldwide looking for an opportunity to send a scam email to unwitting recipients. That includes via Comments in Blog webpages, and their hope is the end recipient will respond, in which case there is a "Gotcha!" moment where they can sell your real email address to lots of scam sites.
These autobot messages are annoying but not harmful so long as no one responds to them.
The solution is to turn on Smart CapCha which forces the person adding a Blog Comment to prove they are human before submitting their comment, which is annoying in itself, but eliminates the first problem. An example of Smart CapCha is shown below, in this example you would type in 2333256 195 before clicking on Submit.
Smart CapCha has now been turned on for our Blog pages, if you have a problem using it, please let us know through the Contact tab.
