The Management Committee has been dissatisfied with the A/V technical support the club has received at our monthly meetings, with the problems at the November meeting being unacceptable.
At the Management Committee meeting on December 19th it was decided to purchase and install a 50" plasma TV in St George's Hall as well as to acquire a portable PA system. These should be installed on December 30th and available for our special speaker meeting on January 2nd. In an agreement reached with St George's Council, we will continue to own this equipment for 2 years and can remove it at any time, and St George's is welcome to use it as and when they wish. At the end of 2 years it will be our donation to St George's and the roles will be reversed.
