Speaker @ 3:00 p.m.
The speaker this month will be Ken Lee
Ken was born in the UK and read Natural Sciences at Cambridge University. He immigrated to Canada, and worked for Shell Canada as a geologist, but then changed career direction and became a school principal in Ontario and then in Germany.
Ken’s wife and daughter both died from Huntingdon’s Disease, which resulted in Ken teaching himself enough about the human brain that he has spoken on CBC radio and to many groups throughout North America.
He lives in retirement on Salt Spring Island, and has been involved as a School Trustee and Fire District Trustee.
There will be a Registration Table where members can purchase tickets for the Christmas Party. Also new members can collect their badges. Door Prize tickets (for $25.00 gift vouchers) will also be handed out.
