As with our last outing, we were hearing plenty of bird chatter and song on our outing, but sighting the little creatures was another matter. Despite our Merlin bird-sound apps busily listing off all the species sounding off around us, we just couldn't see more that glimpses of them amidst the greenery. As well, the tide was very low, meaning that most birds were in the far distance or were elsewhere entirely. In all, we tried three locations - Miracle Beach Prov. Park, Driftwood Marine Park on the other side of the Black Creek and Oyster Bay Oh well, we all enjoyed being outside on such a lovely day despite the disappointing lack of birds sightings, and ended off our outing with lunch at the Oyster Bay picnic tables.
