A foggy, misty afternoon didn't deter group members from heading to the Deep Bay and Ship's Point Park areas to look for birds on Wednesday. By the time we arrived in the area, the fog had lifted somewhat, though the mist was fairly prevalent; the main description of conditions by the wate rwas..."chilling to the bone". Oh well, excitement over spotting Long-tailed Ducks at the end of the Deep Bay spit made up for the weather.
