It's been nearly three weeks since our Group managed an outing, but there we were on the winter solstice, tramping the trails at Seal Bay Park for three hours and thoroughly enjoying the exercise. Most of us added cleats to our hiking boots to ensure a slide-free experience, but found they weren't really necessary except for in one area of our route. Still, it was good to feel secure along the way... For this outing, we just followed our noses, backtracking once when we found ourselves at the edge of the Seal Bay RV park - it's interesting to look up every once in a while to discover just where our feet have led us! Bill B. has provided a plotaroute of the 13.5 km of trails used on this occasion.
