Our hike north of the Trent River near Royston started with show and tell, which featured a tick in a baggie. Said tick was acquired on a Comox Valley hike, though certainly not a Glacier Probus hike. None the less, it inspired discussions off and on through out our hike and debrief. It seemed like the mere thought of ticks had most of us scratching phantom itches. Perhaps show and tell featuring parasitic wildlife isn't a great way to start our outings.
