Two groups completed slightly different routes on Mount Washington Resort trails. It turned out to be a great day for big views as the group led by Bill B made our way around the Great Big View and Finger Glades trails.

Sunshine and blue skies! Great day to snowshoe! The group led by Karen started with a climb up Great Big View. When they reached the very steep climb, the group continued up Legacy View. No escaping a 100m climb but it was gradual. A short path veers off at the top and leads to GBV and through the forest. Next, Finger Glades and snowshoeing on that ridge is amazing with its views. Eventually, they came to the decision to try out Marmots Mess which is a new trek not even on the website or maps yet. This took them winding through the woods and up and down. It leads back to a short section of Finger Glades. After that, they proceeded single file down a Nordic trail. Finally, it was lunch and coffee outside on the deck.
Thanks Deb and Cheryl for photos.
