Walking Group - Intermediate
Intermediate Walking is a fun relaxed group of walkers that meets Monday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. The walk is about an hour and is over generally flat territory on good local trails.
Members of the group are emailed a schedule which gives the details of where the group will be walking
for the next 6 – 8 weeks. Information on each walk is also available on the Glacier Probus online calendar for each walk. We always meet at the trailhead, directions are included for each walk.
We suggest good walking shoes, and as always, be prepared for the weather. And don't forget to hydrate.
Maureen and Heather share the Coordinating. PLEASE let us know if you plan to attend, that helps us plan the walk. Contact either Maureen or Heather, whoever is leading.
This is a dog free walk.
COVID UPDATES
Glacier Probus Club requires a sign-in for each Activity Group event. Please bring your own pen to sign the waiver. A reminder - this is also to help with contact tracing if needed and is very important.
At this time, Intermediate Walking will be limited to 12 walkers. If more sign up, the Group will be divided into two groups.
Our debrief after the Walks will be depending on the location of the walk, and will always be outside. Bring tea or coffee and snacks for afterwards, and your own lawn chair. If unsure about a debrief location, check with the Coordinator.
Note: If you are not currently a member of this Walking Group, proceed to the Activity Groups Directory and follow the Advice for members wishing to join a group, or for guests - Click on Activity Groups Directory
