Five adventurous riders set out for a Comox and area ride, determined to overcome the minor drawbacks of overcast skies and cool temperatures. We had our recovering fearless coordinator, Gary Lucas, drop by to see us off at our starting point near Comox Quality Foods. We wound our way through town and headed out on Lazo Rd. Making our way past the Airport, we descended into the seaside community of Kin Beach to see Laurie’s new house. Our trip back to town via Little River Rd allowed us to enjoy a coffee at the Little Red Wagon’s outdoor picnic table. Refreshed, we took a route through the PMQs and into the adjacent acreages where we dropped Roger off at his house on Pridy Rd. We finally reentered Comox via Anderton, Idiens Way and MacDonald drive, resulting in a total of 27kms over a period of slightly more than 2 hours.
