Although bright and sunny, the wind from the North took the warmth out of the air and yesterday’s outing was rather cooler than two weeks ago. Nevertheless, it stayed dry and 19 golfers teed off. The writer saw one birdie on the 9th hole, but no claims made of unusually good scores.
The golfer who put three balls in the ponds on the last outing, claimed that only two went in this week. However he found three others so enjoyed a net gain. That is one advantage of playing Mulligans every two weeks-there is good chance of finding more balls than you lose, and they are quite likely to belong to fellow Probus players!
Next outing will be on May 10th.
