With plenty of snow on the ground and in the trees, two groups hiked in Seal Bay Park. A variety of slip-on studs and spikes helped keep everyone vertical on the slippery trails.
The group led by Dawn kept to a slower pace on their 7 kilometer route, and thoroughly enjoyed the snowy park - such glorious scenery under wintery conditions. Snow falling from trees and down their necks and having to clamber over or around fallen trees just added to the adventure.
The group led by Bill experienced similar conditions and scenery over their 10 kilometer route.
