We had a good turnout for an exploratory hike in the Williams Beach area. We parked near the ocean but first hiked inland, exploring some of the many trails in the area. Walking was mostly very easy through the young forest except for a few large puddles. After covering about 9 kilometres we were back at the cars. From there most of us descended a short steep trail to the beach for lunch. The inland trail network offers many choices for shorter or longer loops.
