BC Hydro announced that much more water than usual will be flowing over Elk Falls these days so we hiked the Canyon View trails to check it out. The falls did not disappoint. In addition to the usual ups and downs of this 12 km route we added a steep climb up to the Ridge Trail on our way back to vehicles. For our debrief, food and drinks at the Riptide Pub were appreciated by all.
