The day was quite warm on Thursday, so the woodsy hike up Nile Creek was a good choice for the group, with lots of shade making the outing very pleasant. As usual, this hike was a bit of an obstacle course made more challenging by all the deadfall which has come down since last year. Add the usual wet and muddy conditions...and we all reveled in the fun of negotiating it all. As usual, our lunch break was located at the first waterfall; a few of the group headed onwards to check out the next waterfall, involving an additional steep uphill climb. All in all, an invigorating outing involving one of our favourite destinations. Our "debrief" was held at Roy's Towne Pub in Royston.
