A beautiful sunny ferry ride took members to Powell River for a truly delicious lunch and concert at the annual Pacific Region International Summer Music Academy, PRISMA, featuring world renowned musicians and students from all over the world. This year, we were treated to the final round the Concerto Competition featuring two exceptional violinists with the 70 piece orchestra conducted by two up and coming Conductors. Artistic Director, Arthur Arnold, then led the orchestra in a thrilling performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 1. All in all, a fabulous happy day, organized by Michele Morton, ending with a beautiful ferry ride back to Little River.
