Walk was from Glen Urquhart Drive where we headed to the rhododendron garden first and the variety of rhodos never cease to amaze. Then, it was back to Hurford Park and cutting into the trail leading to the leprechaun tree. There is new minature furniture to be seen once you open the door. Look...I found a pot of gold! Back to the trail that weaves through the park and to the city streets with spectacular views of the mountains as well as colourful Spring gardens. We cut through the Glacier View Lodge where we saw the glacier and then Comox Bay. A path led us to the field bordering Back Rd before entering Lerwick Forest and Fairy Lane. Streets and the Valley Greenway trail led us back. Thanks to Stan for hosting us after our walk. Great to chat and laugh in Stan's backyard.
