We had two groups out on the Mount Washington Resort trails. Karen led a group that started with Tree Beards which was an 85 m ascent mostly through the trees. There are three climbs here with two relatively flat paths in between the climbs. All were rewarded with the spectacular viewpoint at the end of the trail. Next, the Old Cabin Loop and Crooked Creek trails, where there was unexpected sun and a bit of blue sky, completed our 5 k snowshoe. Outdoors on the Raven Lodge deck, was our lunch spot. Perfect! Thanks to Robin, Gwen Bill J and Deb for the photos.
Bill B led the other group on a similar route, with the added bonus of the long climb up Rossiter's Rise. The view from the top was breathtaking in two senses of the word.
Thank you Dawn and Bill J for the photographs. To see all of Bill's pictures from this outing click here.
