Six of us headed up to Anderson Lake today. In exploring a different route to the lake, we encountered a rather steep incline to the logging road we were aiming for. So, after a brief discussion, we altered course and walked along the ridge to hook up to the trail that took us to the road. As the lake was far from being safe to walk on, we kept to the shoreline for the trip along the lake, where we stopped for a lunch/snack break. With temperatures hovering around 3 degrees and soft snow conditions, we managed to do a tough 4.2 Km over the space of 2 ½ hours. Once back to town, we met at Mud Sharks for a coffee and usual debrief.
