Temperatures are rising (not a lot!), the birds are singing, spring flowers are appearing, and the deer have stopped eating the writer’s crocus and dwarf hyacinths, so things are looking up on the first day of Spring!
In weak sunshine eleven of us walked through Nymph Falls park and up towards the dam for nearly two hours, and as we walked back towards the cars it became warm enough to start removing jackets.
For the first time this year we sat outside on the patio for coffee at Tim’s, but apart from one hardy individual, coats became necessary again.
An excellent start to Spring.
