Twenty-one of us headed out from the Torrence Road entrance of Northeast Woods. We followed the green arrows until we took the turnoff towards Lazo marsh. Eventually, we arrived at the bird viewing platform though the red-winged blackbirds were relieved that we didn't stay long. Next, Bill J. led us to the Lazo Wildlife Park. The trail did meander through a field and meet up with the path leading us back to the woods. Afterwards, we had one of the best post-walk sessions at Steve's and Cheryl's. Somehow, everything went according to Cheryl's plan with the guests of honour, Tony and Tricia, being surprised. Again, thank you to you two, Tricia and Tony, for being coordinators for so many years.
