Announcements
Everyone was told that the tickets for the Christmas party were on sale today and would also be available at the October and November monthly gatherings. Tony said they could also be ordered online and as they were limited to 80 he encouraged everyone to buy early.
He explained that the Management Committee had decided to buy two $25 gift certificates as door prizes for this month and hoped everyone had got their tickets as they arrived.
Tony then introduced this month’s speaker Ross Moxley – The Flying Judge. Ross gave us an interesting and amusing insight into the problems encountered by the judiciary when operating in less than ideal conditions in the far North of Saskatchewan.
Tony thanked Ross for his presentation and gave him a print of the Comox Glacier as a thank you from the club, he then drew the tickets for the door prizes the winners of which were: Linda Leslie & Bev Haist
Tony thanked everyone for coming and wished then a safe journey home.
